Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the summer prior to their intended graduation year.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

The selected individual(s) for the role must be able to demonstrate some proven knowledge and skills within the following areas:

  • Demonstrates an interest in all aspects of Experience Consulting, as well as a desire to pursue a career in consulting;
  • Demonstrates some knowledge of experience strategy deliverables, including synthesizing observations, insights and ideas into cogent written deliverables (e.g. discovery documents, personas, journey maps, experience blueprints and other relevant documentation);
  • Demonstrates some knowledge of designing and creating deliverables that support the execution of digital business strategy in conjunction with the business development lifecycle and client presentations or meetings, emphasizing performance in a team environment;
  • Demonstrates some ability in understanding and applying digital, experience and technology trends in the market;
  • Demonstrates some ability with designing and undertaking primary and secondary research (both qualitative and quantitative) to understand user experiences, needs and preferences;
  • Has some understanding of UX/UI design best practices, patterns, and intuitive navigational schemes;
  • Has some knowledge of of the Adobe Creative Suite and/or related UX tools to create the experience of a project including the information architecture, flows, sitemap, wireframes, annotations, etc to communicate effectively the user experience and user interface/interaction elements;
  • Demonstrates some ability of integration of research findings, new ideas, creative innovation, and industry-leading practice to generate unique, strategic solutions;
  • Possessing abilities as team member; building proven relationships; communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building proven relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
  • Possessing knowledge of research and analysis of technical matters, while utilizing problem-solving skills. This includes the analysis of large and complex data sets, demonstrating an aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, using the standard suite of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to execute related deliverables;
  • Utilizes of effective written and verbal business communication skills when interacting with team members in a professional setting; and,
  • Demonstrates flexibility and desire to travel, as client assignments require.
