UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Job Summary:
This role is part of Aon Plc. Engagement portfolio, which provides online tools that support our Engagement, Assessment and Leadership consultants This role will be responsible for designing and building web-based applications that survey and report engagement data to managers and leaders around the globe. Primary responsibilities will include the overall architecture and aesthetics design of site components as part of the existing Modern Survey platform. If you have a strong understanding of information architecture, user-centered design, stylesheets, and you are focused on using design as a method for solving user problems, you’ve got the skills we need. You’ll work closely with team members in Business, Back End Engineering, as well as Design, to effectively conceptualize and craft experiences that delight our users. Our goal is to deliver software that provides the most pleasurable, engaging, and delightful experience our users have ever had with a business application. Can you help?
Responsibilities:
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Develop UI mockups & prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Prepare & present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify & troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Additionally, you will participate in Aon’s Early Career Development Program which provides critical training, exposure to Aon solutions beyond Health, and networking with your peers across the country.
How this opportunity is different
These roles fall under Aon’s Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 10-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Knowledge of wireframe tools
Up-to-date knowledge of design software
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Education: Open to all majors.
Applicants for this role, which is part of the Launch program, should graduate between December 2022 – June 2023 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The target salary range for this position ranges between $60,000-$70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.
