This position is a part-time position at Philosophy Communication, Inc., and is responsible for supporting the company in its mission to serve clients. The digital designer works to assist and/or lead innovative campaigns across web, social, mobile and emerging platforms to develop, assets, brand awareness, build conversion and create loyalty. A proactive self-starter attitude, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and project management are key skills to being successful in this position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create digital assets as needed (i.e. static, video or HTML) for different platforms including display, digital out of home, social
  • Create website assets from hero / approved design concept
  • Design layouts for website, landing and email concepts
  • Create email designs and the creation of templates in HTML
  • Iterate / develop new design based on feedback
  • Ability to quickly translate ideas and concepts into sketches, mockups, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Create digital content for various campaigns
  • Experience with digital design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of visual design principles
  • Understanding of design thinking process

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience in brand marketing, design, digital
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred
  • Experience with at least 3 social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)
  • Familiar with or willing to learn basic graphic design and video editing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player
  • Drive to complete projects ahead of time and with a high degree of excellence
  • Ability to act with professionalism and maturity in all client and agency situations
  • Ability to provide high quality input for creative development by providing clear, insightful, strategic direction
  • Willingness to initiate and adopt new ideas, curious to learn
  • Ability to build trust and respect through active coaching, communication, and listening

Hourly Rate: $25-$40, depending on experience

Job Type: Part-Time, 20 hours a week, in office
