As a Digital Designer you will be an individual contributor on the design team and will contribute to organizational ownership of our brand through ongoing guideline establishment, communication and education. - Lead designer for digital expressions of the brand including but not limited to UI design for Web, UI layer for UX and paid digital. Supporting colleagues on the design team with other daily design work as workload permits.
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues that require design services, ensuring their expectations are managed and their business needs are met.
- Manage the creative production process of your work ensuring that standards for quality and branding are maintained, and that deadlines are met.
- Ensure work orders are fully completed, clarify specifications and scope, understand objectives and negotiate deadlines as required.
- Work with teams and external providers to help ensure timely delivery of rush requests and urgent business needs.
- Lead the development of UX – UI Brand Guidelines while ensuring the consistent application of the Brand Playbook across the organization.
What you will bring:
- 5-7 years experience in a Graphic Services preferably in the financial industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to unique situations and projects.
- Understanding of current web standards, principles and best practices with regards to digital marketing, display ads, and social media ads.
- Demonstrated knowledge with current trends in UI/UX, video, animation and accessible design.
- Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and small and large format print.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to allocate, manage, coordinate resources to handle project workload with on-time delivery.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
- An innovative thinker with the desire to constantly improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Suite; Photoshop, XD, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Comprehension of basic HTML/CSS, and standard UX web practices.
