Summary:
Clio is seeking a skilled Digital Designer (6 month contract) with a passion for creating memorable experiences across our digital channels! This role is available to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec.
What we are looking for:
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for translating ideas into brand propelling content. As a digital designer on the Creative team, you will help craft excellent landing pages that captivate users, designing digital ads that stand out in a competitive advertising space, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
You will join a fun and fast-paced in-house creative team at Clio that is collaborative and eagerly growing the Clio brand. The ideal applicant must have a keen design sensibility, experience designing for websites, an understanding of UX and UI best practices, and an acute attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design landing pages that are not just beautiful but also drive action in the user, making your landing pages high-performing conversion pages.
- Produce a wide variety of digital marketing assets including digital ads, social media ads, email graphics and other digital assets that will support Clio’s many marketing initiatives.
- Through collaboration with product marketing managers, you will develop a strong understanding of how our products function and its benefits. You will leverage this knowledge to create marketing assets, including but not limited to simplified UI assets, slide deck support, and in-product marketing materials.
- Collaborate closely with digital designers, brand designers, developers, product marketing managers and marketers to help elevate our brand and drive conversion.
- Work within an established design system and component ecosystem, while also providing ideas on how to improve that system.
- Perform site audits alongside our digital experience subteam to ensure the brand assets across our channels are accurate and discover opportunities to improve accessibility and scalability.
- Create digital templates on our digital asset management system to support the scalability of branded assets, giving others in our Marketing team the ability to create their own assets.
What you should have:
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience, ideally with a mix of agency and client-side experience
- Experience and comfort in fast-paced and multiple work-stream environments
- Self-starting, proactive and take-charge attitude
- Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to develop ideas with exceptional design quality for a broad range of design assets
- Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and Keynote should be core elements of your toolbox.
- Familiarity with UX and UI best practices for the web and web accessibility standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills and ability to communicate with team members at all levels
- A keen eye for detail and precision
- Highly organized
Bonus points:
- WordPress experience
- Experience using After Effects or other motion graphics software to create simple animations.
- Past experience working in a Saas company
The expected new hire base pay for this role is $30/hour.
