About the team:

FIS is a company built on a history of acquisitions and integrating them with our customer needs. As we continue to grow, we are building out a developer portal for serving up all our services in one place. This will democratize financial services and give access to the developer community that will build the next great wave of user apps and services.

What you will be doing:

• Creating and pursuing the conversation with our customers in the form of written word
• Building a content strategy and conversational framework that will dictate how we relate to our technology users
• Taking existing documentation and rewriting it to create clear and concise directions on how to use our technology and creating new documentation and topic
• Building trust in our users, connecting people to their money, and iterating to continually improve
• Educating and promoting the content strategy across the company, taking input from colleagues, and continually evolving to meet client and customer needs

What you will need:

• Deep familiarity with content strategy
• Technical writing skills / ability to translate complex ideas into simpler language / human readable instructions
• Collaborative streak that compels you to pull your product and engineering partners into the work alongside you
• Strong experience with the major content management systems and Figmor curiosity to build that skillset
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to take feedback and use it to iterate on your work

Added Bonus if you have:

• Experience in the financial services world or highly regulated industries
