Design Intern - Unpaid

SoFiiT is a dynamic startup focused on improving student well-being and mental health through fitness. We've developed a revolutionary app that connects students with compatible workout buddies, fostering meaningful connections and a sense of community. As we launch on campus, we are seeking a passionate and creative Design Intern to join our team.

Role Overview:

We're looking for a talented Design Intern to assist us in creating eye-catching and engaging visual content for various platforms. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the SoFiiT brand identity, helping us connect with our target audience and promote our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
• Design promotional materials, including flyers, banners, and digital ads.
• Assist in developing branding elements.
• Contribute to the design of merchandise items, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetic.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for visual content.
• Help maintain and organize design assets in a structured manner.
• Adapt and iterate on designs based on feedback from the team.

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in a design-related program or recent graduation.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
• Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
• Creative thinking with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Passion for fitness, well-being, and creating meaningful connections.
