The Design Intern will assist the marketing design department to ensure high-quality, visual-engaging digital communications for our consumers. This Internship will be exposed to quick-turn, day-to-day content to support our social, ecommerce and overall brand marketing. This is a summer internship and will cease at the end of the season.

The company serves athletes directly and also as a trusted partner of major brands in the active Outdoor Recreation industry, incorporating our hands-free hydration reservoirs and soft flasks into hydration backpacks and running vests. HydraPak also operates as Bottle Bright®, the natural and effective cleaning tablet, and Polar Bottle®, the original insulated sports water bottle for bike and recreation, and our branded hydration products are available at specialty sport stores worldwide.  

Who You Are:

Our ideal candidate is a current student that is humble enough to know that they have a lot to learn and hungry enough to seek out new opportunities to get involved and make our Marketing department even better. We're looking for a creative individual with a passion for design interested in developing your skills in a dynamic and supportive work environment. You are detail oriented with an eye for design. Willingness and ability to learn and problem solve in a fast paced environment. You have a love for the outdoors and the products that help athletes be their best.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the digital representation of our brands across a variety of channels and platforms
  • Generate vector, print ready graphics events and marketing materials, which may include brochures, labels, stickers, or other assets.
  • Post editing, sizing and organization of photography, video and graphics.
  • Develop digital assets and motion graphics based off of our brand standards for 2023 marketing strategy.
  • Support marketing for events and presentations.
  • Develop and assist video and photography content creation.

Specific Position Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction and feedback.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
  • Demonstrated ability to design in both digital and print format and form factors
  • Strong artistic eye, understanding of the graphic requirements of a project
  • Ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and initiative
  • Knowledge of both print and digital mediums requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier Pro.
  • Familiarity with Google Business Suite, Microsoft Office 365 and Drop Box
  • Familiarity with Apple products and systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Offer to be determined based upon the individual's experience and qualifications. Budgeted at a base salary of $20 - $25 per hour
