Sustainable Snacks is a dynamic, Bronx-based start-up on a mission to promote public health through better snacking (SustainableSnacks.co). We also sustain our community through Health Education initiatives, including our latest ‘Salud Mía’ campaign run in partnership with the New York City Department of Health (SaludMia.nyc).

Design Intern

We seeking a design intern to start mid-August/September to support our content creation across channels.

Job Description:

• Create graphics for social media and email marketing campaigns.
• Design email, landing page, and blog aesthetics.
• Perform website updates + improve user experience.
• Spearhead retargeting and social ad efforts.
• Optimize website and social media channels for SEO and usability.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is socially conscious, ambitious, goal-oriented and creative, with an interest in health promotions and plant-based eating, and speaks Spanish.

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a relevant course of study (i.e. Business, Marketing).
• UI/UX Design.
• Working knowledge of Shopify and Squarespace.
• Internship will be structured remotely with some in person events and meetings in NYC.
