Program Summary

Join us for a 6-month internship designed for students to help you reach your career goals by providing hands-on projects that highlight skills from the classroom and will impact the organization. You will be given the opportunity to work with the geniuses across the organization to devise engaging experiences for fans and students globally. With great power comes great responsibility, as you’ll be tasked to pitch and execute your own projects to develop the repertoire of skills you learn from the classroom. If you’re looking for busy work to put on your resume, this isn’t the job for you. We are looking for leaders bold enough to innovate and share their ideas to the CEO of Evil herself.

Job Description

As a Graphic Design intern, you’ll be integral in curating our brand assets into numerous mediums for social media, promotions, content, apparel, or the website. We are seeking a highly creative and hardworking intern with experience rooted in graphics, visual design, and branding. You will work closely with our creative team along with collaborating with the Project Management, Social Media and Partnership departments.

What you’ll do

  • Design content and assets for all the Evil Geniuses platforms including social media channels, events, print, website, and streams
  • Edit and retouch photos
  • Take initiative in end-to-end delivery of projections and constantly innovate on new opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day operation of Genius League events and activations including scheduling, task assignments, and reporting to Collegiate Leadership
  • Assist with the project planning, management, and delivery for Genius League activations
  • Digitally engage with fans, collegiate students, and universities

What you’ll bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a program related to Marketing or Graphic Design
  • Juniors, Seniors, or master’s degree students preferred
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD/Sketch/etc.
  • Experience with Motion and 3D work is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and UX is a plus
  • Knowledge of building and operating tournaments or events
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as both an independent contributor and engage teams and teammates
