The Training and Development Team is a part of Clark Associates’ Shared Services - operating at the core of the organization to provide differentiated professional development to the unique companies within the enterprise. Our team is looking for a college intern who would describe themself as driven to serve others, eager to be a part of change impacting thousands of employees, and hungry to grow in their awareness/application of effective business strategy. This internship is designed for high-caliber candidates and will require comfort working in complex and non-linear environments. The outcome, however, will be an experience resulting in a deep understanding from senior leaders and a holistic business understanding that is quite unique.
The Training and Development Interns will have the benefit of a well-developed internship learning program created by our Employee Experience Team, a focused business development series by the Director of Training and Development, and various ad hoc opportunities throughout the summer.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to travel to the Lancaster, PA headquarters. This is a fully in-person internship.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and utilize effective communication strategies in professional presentations and interactions
- Collaborate with the UX & Media Specialist to learn the basics of the UX design process, identify and prioritize training and development needs across the organization, and create deliverables that best meet stakeholder needs
- Assist with developing multimedia content, including presentations, videos, and interactive eLearning modules, using tools such as Canva, iMovie, and SCORM
- Conduct research to gather information on industry best practices and emerging trends in UX design and development
- Review and provide feedback on UX & media content while ensuring it aligns with company branding and style guides
- Work alongside the Employee Engagement Coordinator to understand and support the administrative tasks of the Training and Development Team
- Develop professional relationships with managers and individual contributors to evaluate needs to address micro and macro business opportunities
- Research, design, and implement professional development based upon identified needs of various Clark Associates business channels
- Present to senior leadership a summary of findings, deliverables, and recommendations to address present and forecasted needs
