Contract Junior Designer

Aescape is actively recruiting an ambitious Junior Designer (contract) to join our dynamic marketing team. This role presents a thrilling opportunity to contribute to the launch of a new company and product, typically an opportunity reserved for later stages in one's career - but available now.

In this immersive role, you'll collaborate closely with Aescape’s Lead Designer and cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, and Partnerships. Together, we'll craft captivating campaigns and assets for brand and partner marketing across various platforms including social media, web, email, OOH, and more.

This hybrid position is based in NYC or the San Francisco/Bay Area, with remote possibilities for exceptional candidates. Reporting directly to the Lead Designer, outstanding performers will be considered for full-time positions as our creative organization expands.!

What You’ll Do

As a Contract Junior Designer at Aescape you will:

• Accelerate campaigns with execution of day-to-day design needs.
• Develop concepts through to finished designs across online, social, and various media.
• Produce assets for digital, physical, video, and animated media.
• Engage in design discussions & workshops, offer insights, and provide feedback.
• Collaborate closely with our Design Lead to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Assist in refining our brand identity and consistently deliver high-quality work.

• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong eye for typography, color, and composition.
• Confidence in video editing and motion design.
• Ability to interpret and communicate creative briefs and timelines.

• Keen understanding of design principles and comfort working with existing toolkits.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.
