About the Role


As a Content Developer, you will be responsible for creating compelling user-centred content for Laivly’s digital channels, including the company’s website, training platforms, user communities, and marketing collateral. You will use the written word, visuals, interactive media and an iterative approach based on research and discovery to develop content that resonates with Laivly’s key audiences. Your ability to understand, empathize and connect with Laivly’s growing community of clients and users will impact their experience with Laivly’s products and services, build trust in the brand, and drive product adoption.


As a Content Developer, you will…

  • Develop well-researched content that addresses specific user needs across a number of channels, including user communities, learning management systems, newsletters, social media, blogs, websites, and other media
  • Write persuasive and engaging copy that informs, educates and inspires the target audience
  • Work collaboratively with Laivly’s Design, Training, Marketing, and Community Operations teams to oversee the development of media such as videos or interactive experiences to achieve specific user goals
  • Leverage creative storytelling to share Laivly’s value proposition in a fun, engaging, and educational way
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

As a Content Developer, you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in any of the following disciplines: content design/writing, creative writing, UX writing, learning & development, English, or related field
  • Expert-level verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication
  • Creativity and innovative thinking, with proven ability to identify and incorporate visual media into your written materials to enhance the message
  • Strong persuasive communication skills with the ability to communicate the voice of the company effectively and consistently in all written materials
  • Experience producing high quality work across multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to align multiple brand strategies and ideas
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • The ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team setting within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
