Digital Product Designer, UX/UI

Digital Product Designers, UX/UI at Procter and Gamble work closely with our engineers and product managers to design products from conception to launch. These IT products can be built to deliver value across our business from products built for our P&G brands, to products built for our Supply Chain, HR business processes, or Information Security organization. As part of the Product team, you will bridge the technical, and business world as you design digital product experiences that consumers love. You will be responsible for designing and executing against best-in-class product roadmaps that advance Procter and Gamble’s mission. This role requires close collaboration across your internal product team and stakeholders and will be visible within multiple levels of the company. You’ll work with engineers, product managers and operational stakeholders to prioritize product roadmap features, and design new capabilities for the products consumers.

As a Digital Product Designer, UX/UI, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of digital experiences for a digital product such as mobile apps, web apps, e-commerce sites or connected products. You will collaborate with a world class team of product managers, engineers, and other digital product designers, to fully design, develop and validate your ideas while applying your UI design skills to create engaging, intuitive solutions.

You will own and lead the design strategy for the digital product experience, envisioning what is possible. You influence and align stakeholders to your design vision while leading your product team to deliver efficiently through agile processes.

In this role you will be responsible for developing a robust, flexible design system that enables the product team to execute efficiently, while optimizing the visual and verbal expression of the brand. You will ensure quality and consistency of design deliverables, including mockups, clickable prototypes, assets for development handoff, simple animations, and digital product guidelines. You will also conduct user research activities including competitive analysis, information architecture, A/B testing, accessibility, and site analytics for continual improvement.

The successful candidate must have exceptional problem solving and design thinking skills, solid ability to advocate for users through design, and collaborating with technology and research teams. We are looking for a proven ability to think through every phase of design, the ability to influence and advocate for their work and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous products that will be industry defining.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Communication Design, UI/UX Design, Interactive Design, Digital Design, New Media Design, or Advertising Design.
  • Nielsen NnX design
  • Experience in implementing UX framework end-to-end on a digital product.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of methodology matching and a familiarity with usability testing tools, methods and metrics.
  • Software Fluency in the latest digital programs and tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc.
  • Strong leadership skills and thought leadership, ideally a proven track record of leadership and success. Ability to propose a path forward based on the body of evidence or defining what information to seek next to drive decisions. Acting as an owner and organizer of the work.
  • A portfolio & case study that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in the core areas of Digital Product Design. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.
  • Strong design mastery and ability to solve problems using design skills demonstrated in a competitive portfolio
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to justify your conceptual and directional design choices. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback

Pay Range: $85-$115K

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total Rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
