We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and dedicated Web Designer/Developer to join our creative team. You will play a key role in designing, creating, and managing engaging, cross-browser-compatible websites and apps for our diverse clientele.

Web Designer responsibilities include creating original artwork/graphics for websites, designing the layouts and building custom websites. We want to see a background in web design languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and a strong portfolio of customer-focused designs. It would be great if you are familiar with other technologies like Photoshop and Illustrator as they play an important role in your work. Your goal will be to create beautiful user experiences through websites and mobile apps that are both easy to use and pleasing to the eye.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites primarily using Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to transform UI/UX designs into functional websites.
  • Draw and design wireframes for websites, using them as the basis for the final design.
  • Develop layouts for web pages, landing pages, and banners, ensuring they align with the overall visual strategy.
  • Create visual mockups using various graphic design software to effectively present design ideas to colleagues and clients.
  • Manage multiple social media accounts, creating and posting engaging content that promotes brand awareness and drives visitors to our website.
  • Write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create interactive website elements and features.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and fix website bugs to ensure optimal functionality at all times.
  • Write SEO-friendly content, including engaging call-to-action buttons, to improve site visibility and user engagement.
  • Design visual elements such as icons, emoticons, GIFs, banners, and other graphics using image editing software.
  • Handle website maintenance and updates, perform regular backups to prevent data loss.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO.
  • Develop custom themes and plugins as per client requirements.
  • Prototype and iterate designs according to user feedback, using tools such as Figma.
  • Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Guide the content development process by editing and approving changes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage project scope effectively, keeping developers on track with goals and timelines.
  • Work efficiently within limited resources and tight deadlines to deliver high-quality output.
  • Stay updated with the latest web design trends and technologies to continuously improve our offerings.
