We’re looking for an Associate Content Designer to join our UX team in our unending journey to make Property Managers' (and their customers') lives easier. You will contribute to Product’s content strategy, advocate for content design across the organization, join scrum teams, and collaborate with a small (but mighty!) team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with scrum teams to deliver experiences that are consumer-grade, easy-to-understand, and aligned with our brand.
- Designing scalable processes for managing content needs.
- Delivering engaging, clear, and concise UI copy for Buildium’s platform and mobile apps.
- Advocating for human-centered content that helps people accomplish their goals.
- Developing and demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs by reviewing data, conducting research, and generating insights that inform content design decisions.
- Participating in collaborative design sessions with Product Designers, Product Management, and Engineering to reach a shared understanding of deliverables.
- Contributing to The UX Style Guide and Design System documentation.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- You have outstanding writing skills and an editor’s eye for grammar.
- You may have experience with UX writing for complex workflows and software products.
- You can juggle different workstreams with nimbleness and grace.
- You’re comfortable defending work and know how to accept constructive feedback.
- You pride yourself on your ability to build trust and rapport with others.
- You’re self-driven, organized, and know how to work collaboratively and autonomously.
- You may have experience with or exposure to Agile frameworks and have a passion for iterative development.
- You can clearly and effectively present and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers.
- You have a fun-loving spirit and a great sense of humor!
