Overview

Do you have a passion for UX/UI design and a strong desire to grow and learn? If you are an early career UX/UI designer and looking for a role where you will be creating user-centric designs that are both visually appealing and easy to use keep reading on! As UX/UI Designer, you will conceive, design and develop the UX designs for multiple product offerings in the roadmap. You’ll absorb product and feature themes, analyze, prepare and articulate your ideas and with compelling illustrations, frameworks and prototypes. You’ll work closely with the product and engineering team stakeholders in supporting the product roadmap.

The Opportunity

What you can expect working with our team

  • We are an innovative team of Product Managers and UX/UI Designers who deeply care about solving problems our customers and users face every day.

No two days are the same but a typical week for a UX Designer…

  • Meet with members from the Product Management team to understand design priorities for the next quarter.
  • Sit in on a discovery call with a customer and a Product Manager to learn more about a customer problem.
  • Spend some deep work time on a new design.
  • Meet 1:1 with a Product Manager to collaborate on a design for a new feature.
  • Meet with your engineering team to collaborate on designs for a new feature.
  • Conduct user testing on a new design.

The UX/UI Designer is responsible for...

  • Deeply understand the needs of our customers, their ER professionals, their managers and their employees.
  • Create user centric designs with inputs from product, engineering and leadership stakeholders.
  • Conduct concept and usability testing with customers and gather their feedback.
  • Develop and design wireframes, mockups, data flow and interaction specs along with functional prototypes.
  • Create and maintain user personas.

Qualifications

  • Can find creative solutions to interesting problems.
  • Can think independently, challenge assumptions, and identify potential solutions to problems.
  • Have the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, collaborate with others to gather input, and maintain objectivity and professionalism.
  • Are comfortable working with incomplete or uncertain information, identifying key issues, and developing creative solutions to address them.

Skills and Experience

  • UX Designer experience and/or bootcamp course completion
  • Knowledge of and experience with Figma.
  • Experience with user centric strategies and user exeperience techniques.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C SaaS products.

Additional Experience a plus

  • Experience leading design work in an agile and fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in web and native apps and mobile design first approaches.
  • Balancing short-term fixes and long-term roadmap.
