Job Title: Associate User Experience Researcher

Department: User Experience

Description

Insulet is on a mission to simplify life for people living with diabetes! We are looking for an Associate User Experience (UX) Researcher in the growing Innovation & Strategy organization to accomplish our mission. The Associate UX Researcher will help design and execute quantitative and qualitative UX research to identify new opportunities and improve our product, digital, web, and service-based experiences. The ideal candidate has a flexible attitude and wants to contribute to innovation through rigorous research and constant learning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with the project lead researcher
  • Design large-scale surveys and analyze them, leveraging solid design of experiment and statistical expertise.
  • Assist with designing and analyzing qualitative and mixed-method studies (e.g. interviews, etc.)
  • Assist with report writing, visualizations and creation of actionable recommendations
  • Assist with participant recruiting and notetaking
  • Perform other research-related duties, such as process improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field required
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in quantitative CX, UX, Human Factors, or Marketing/Customer Insights, with focus on researching experiences and products preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable (or excited to learn) about diabetes
  • Strong desire to understand and improve the lives of  People living With Diabetes.
  • Able to quickly master quantitative research tools (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Demonstrated logic and coding skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced collaborative culture with tight deadlines
  • Strong desire to work cross-functionally with UX design, Data Science, Marketing and Human Factors.

NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote 

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $72,000.00 - $102,375.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
