BASIC PURPOSE: The Associate UX Researcher will be responsible for supporting the research conducted by the Love’s experience design team. You will work on both virtual and in-person research and with quantitative and qualitative data. You will support different stages of research studies, such as planning, recruitment, coordinating, set-up, data cleaning and analysis. As a part of our growing team, you will gain experience with a variety research methodologies and work on multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, eager to learn and is a team player.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Support research projects, including with research design, facilitation, executing research projects and delivering insights
- Assist with the management of research operations processes, including recruitment, scheduling and documentation
- Familiarity with various UX research methodologies and the fundamentals of research
- Work on customer personas, field research, interviews, quantitative/qualitative research, usability testing and analytics
- Ability to monitor multiple research projects simultaneously, collect data and analyze results

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attending meetings, calls and workshops to assist with understanding business requirements and research planning
- Support research initiatives by managing recruiting, scheduling and communication with participants and stakeholders
- Prepare data collection materials (e.g., discussion guides) and documentation for research initiatives
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and the UX team to organize, facilitate and run user research sessions
- Help plan, conduct and report research to support projects throughout the organization
- Assist with conducting both in-person and remote qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods user research including
- ethnographic interviews, survey campaigns, A/B testing, prototype testing as well as field and remote usability studies
- Assist with organizing, presenting, and defending research findings in compelling and creative ways to peers and stakeholders
- Conduct customer experience research on digital interfaces and beyond them (e.g. services, facilities, market research)
- Assist with managing the UX research repository and with evangelizing user experience in the organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year college degree in Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Anthropology, Information
- Science or any other related field
- At least 1 year of experience in UX research or related work
- Familiar with industry standard tools and methodologies, such as quantitative analysis and conducting interviews
- Experience in UX/UI design, project management or UX writing is a plus
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Hard Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suit (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.), Adobe Creative Cloud, LucidChart, SurveyMonkey (or similar tools).
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to work efficiently, good organization skills, flexible, good teamwork capability, and self-motivated

- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and peripherals
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision
