Team & Position Summary

Influential is defining the future of the creator economy by building the foundation on how influencers, brands and their audience interact and transact. Our team is  seeking creative thinkers with experience solving difficult problems to help us develop solutions  that will continue to support Influential’s leadership position in the industry.

As a key member of a small UX team, you will be a critical player during our React migration. Your work will focus on expanding the functionality and capabilities of our core platforms  through innovative solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to create first-of-their-kind solutions  and solve unique technology challenges in a high-growth industry.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Refine and expand upon mockups, solutions, direction provided by UX Lead
• Participate in design reviews by effectively explaining solutions provided, demonstrating ability to receive and apply feedback to designs.
• Own and maintain our design system
• Support development team by ensuring components are used consistently in designs, are updated in the style guide, and any prototyping has been completed ahead of sprints.
• Support and participate in user research sessions
• Develop deep understanding of our users
• Work closely with UX Lead, Product Team, and Development team to create solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications (Required)

• Experience with design tools
• Must provide a portfolio of work/projects OR be able to demonstrate abilities in another format.
• Ability to talk through your design process and problem solving process.
• Passion for user experience, must display desire to grow skills.
• Display ability to take feedback and incorporate it into your work.
• Experience collaborating remotely
• Display ability to consistently adhere to established design patterns and apply them to smaller features or enhancements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A determination to achieve and succeed within a team setting
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience with Figma
• Knowledge and experience working with design systems.
• Transferable skills: background in a creative industry OR experience in UX/UI
• Degree or bootcamp certification in an applicable industry.
