We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to contribute fresh ideas and grow within a collaborative environment. As a Junior Product Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface of our educational software products.Opportunity Highlights:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create and refine design concepts for our software applications.
  • Assist in developing user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs that align with user needs and product requirements.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify user pain points and preferences, integrating findings into design solutions.
  • Support the design team in maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across products.
  • Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices in the industry to contribute fresh and innovative ideas.


Skills & Qualifications

  • A degree with relevant experience and coursework in Design, UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or;
  • Completion of a bootcamp or other intensive program with relevant experience and coursework in Design, UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Professional experience as a Product/UX/UI Designer with a background in Product Management, Engineering or other related field.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio showcasing design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs (academic or professional work).
  • Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail.
  • Experience with incorporating user research and testing into your design workflow.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams

Bonus Qualifications

  • Understanding of how to use, contribute to and maintain a Design System / Component Library.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.
  • Experience in the education field, or work experience at education technology companies is a bonus.


Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $68,000 to $85,000 annualized.

We also offer full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
