The Role

Zoom is seeking a talented and experienced product designer with a proven track record in design thinking to join our Zoom Rooms team. The role involves designing products that enable seamless communication and presence between hybrid work models–connecting offices to individuals. As a product designer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify problems, figure out root causes, and iterate on solutions that can be user-validated before putting them in front of our diverse collection of users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Balance design innovation, longitudinal research, and short-term customer commitments.
• Utilize design thinking and user-centered design principles to solve complex problems and create a delightful user experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Conduct user research and testing to validate designs
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that designs are implemented as intended
• Continuously improve design processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and inspire design peers to promote process and collaboration while maintaining a focus on customer success.

You Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction and Product Design
• 1+ years of experience in user-centered design at a major UCaaS software company
• Experience in designing cloud-based calling appliances, conference room video appliances, and hybrid workspace management interfaces on PC/Mac/Android/iOS/Web
• Experience in contributing to and applying Design Systems
• Strong skills in design software, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Experience in building cross-functional partnerships and trust across a multidiscipline business.
• Proven experience as a product designer, with expertise in UI/UX design methodologies and a track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience in user research and testing, with a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
• A passion for design, with a desire to continuously learn and improve design skills and a willingness to fail and learn

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$68,400.00

Maximum:

$155,300.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
