The Opportunity

AliveCor is looking for an Associate Product Designer to join our established Product Design Team.

We are looking for candidates with an aptitude for organizational and communication skills. This role will spend a great deal of time working with our product team’s designers and managers to create and update components within the design system. Maintain the integrity of the design system and the hand off files to development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update AliveCor’s Enterprise Design System
• Create functional prototypes for user testing
• Maintain Figma handoff files to be up to date
• Build design system components based on design efforts

Qualifications and Skills

• 1+ years of experience as a product or user experience designer
• Has a portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop a well-considered and robust Figma component library
• Knowledge of human centered design
• Has experience with programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and partnering closely with engineers
• Knowledge of best practices for developing responsive web components, with inclusivity, accessibility, and internationalization in mind
• Passionate about design systems and knowledgeable about new technologies and processes within the field of design technology
• Desired: experience in healthcare industry and startup environments
