The Associate Brand Designer has responsibility for supporting graphic design projects for the EIM and EIM Partner Brands. The position works closely with the Brand Manager to support initiatives that drive market share and new customer acquisition.

Job Responsibilities / Functions
- Work with Brand manager to manage a variety of timely graphic projects.
- Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Design on behalf of University brands in accordance with their style guidelines and branding rules.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Closely follow the creative direction of University and EIM brand guidelines
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Work cross-functionally with the EIM content team to ensure the message and design are cohesive
- Research and order on-brand promotional materials for EIM events – conferences, University Partner social events etc.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- An understanding of marketing, website UX design, corporate identity, and multimedia design.
- An understanding of the latest design trends and their role within a commercial environment.
- Experience designing on a MacBook.
- Excellent technology skills, especially with design and photo-editing software; proficient in design programs such as In Design, Illustrator, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation with demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio, an eye for visual composition, and a solid foundation in typography, layout, and design
- Effective time and resource management skills with the ability to plan ahead, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities with flexibility
- Well organized and have attention to detail
- Ability to travel (occasionally).
- Must work effectively with all staff levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to exhibit good judgment and give and receive constructive criticism
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals of varying backgrounds and responsibilities
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong team support orientation.
