About Us

Novata is a public benefit corporation set up to empower private companies to assess their Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) performance—because a company can’t change what it can’t measure. Founded in 2021 by a unique consortium of The Ford Foundation, Omidyar Network, S&P Global and Hamilton Lane, Novata provides secure and intuitive technology to help companies navigate the complex ESG landscape. Novata is offering a 12-week summer internship program for driven and committed undergraduate students, providing an opportunity to join a group of mission-driven, diverse professionals committed to building a more sustainable and inclusive form of capitalism.As a Product Design Intern, you'll delve into the core principles of effective design while actively contributing to our innovative projects. Alongside our experienced team, you'll gain invaluable insights into industry best practices, refine your skills in user-centered design methodologies, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders, providing a holistic understanding of the product development lifecycle.The internship is scheduled to commence on June 3rd and conclude on August 30th.Additional information:

  • No more than 40 hours a week
  • Commitment through the end of August 2024 (~12 weeks)
  • Compensation: $25/hr

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree or recently graduated
  • Active curiosity and a genuine passion for our mission, sustainability, and social impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
