2024 Investor Services, Summer UX Designer (4 months)

Job Summary

RBC Investor Services Digital and Data team is focused on the modernization of our digital and data capabilities in an effort to build a frictionless and simplified user experience for our client portal. Our team is looking for internship positions to establish design standards for RBC One client portal. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate and work with a strong products and technology team to bring an outside in view of the client to enable the design end-to-end journeys for the RBC One portal. You will be empowered to problem solve with a strong client-centric mindset while balancing it with pragmatic timelines.

Job Description

• Work closely with design leads to create user experiences
• Learn the end-to-end process of project delivery and the associated design tools involved
• Perform user research and develop information architecture, user goals, journey maps, and design wireframes and visual interfaces
• Work with the strategy team to gain insights into clients' business and project objectives

Must- haves:

• You are studying Marketing Research, Psychology, Sociology, or other related field;
• Experience in research, qualitative research techniques or usability testing, a strong asset. If no experience, demonstrate a real enthusiasm for research and UX;
• Good presentation writing skills;
• Ability to clearly identify issues and prioritize information.
