You know the moment. It’s the first notes of that song you love, the intro to your favorite movie, or simply the sound of someone you love saying “hello.” It’s in these moments that sound matters most.
At Bose, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth. We’ve dedicated ourselves to improving it for nearly 60 years. And we’re passionate down to our bones about making whatever you’re listening to a little more magical.
The engineering team at Bose is a thriving, passionate, deeply skilled team of professionals from a broad range of disciplines and experiences, who share a common goal—to create products that provide transformative sound experiences.
Bose is looking for a passionate User Researcher for a co-op role on the Product Design User Research team that will specifically support our new software platform experiences. We need a versatile and creative thinker who can help support and potentially execute research studies in an Agile environment, conduct thorough analysis, and present compelling recommendations to help inform and influence Bose’s product strategy and design for all of its critical software technologies and experiences. Whether you already have some early research experience or are working towards your degree in a related UX field, this co-op position provides the opportunity to gain real-world experience learning UX research at a world-renowned company.
Here at Bose, User Researchers ultimately provide insights to inform and influence product strategy and design through evaluative research methods. User Researchers own a variety of research plans from start to finish from early study design to recruiting to data collection and final analysis and recommendations. In this co-op role, you'll have the chance to work alongside multiple researchers in helping them in every phase of various research studies from study design and recruiting through data collection and analysis. You'll also coordinate with other cross-functional partners, such as engineering, interaction design, industrial design, product, and marketing, giving you a well-rounded experience in how research supports the entire organization.
