The Opportunity

As a UX Insights, Jr. Analyst, you'll be integral to our research efforts, contributing to industry analysis, interpreting data, and conducting usability testing. Your role will involve crafting clear insights, building presentations, and ensuring that our products resonate with our diverse audience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and track UX trends within the media industry, including thorough competitor research.
  • Conduct research sessions, analyze data, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
  • Develop questionnaires, surveys, and interview guides for both moderated and unmoderated sessions.
  • Plan, observe, and moderate usability testing sessions and interviews.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams, effectively communicating research findings.
  • Maintain and create documentation and templates to support ongoing UX research efforts.

Scope & Impact:

  • Support end-to-end research processes on projects of varying scale, employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of clear, compelling reports and presentations to disseminate key industry insights.

Relationships:

  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, working with small teams and across diverse divisions.
  • Foster relationships with colleagues in both the US and UK, collaborating effectively with various teams.
  • Engage with peers and senior leaders leadership to influence research approaches and manage responsibilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in user research or UX research, including usability testing, ethnography, interviews, and survey design.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to work independently while also contributing to team efforts.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at asking questions, seeking assistance, and providing clear updates grounded in data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting UX research on products and managing research projects.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $70k-75k. This does not include other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
